ABOUT US
Inspiration for our café comes from our children. When they were young, "Nyam-Nyam" was the way they would let us know they were hungry. They know that "Nyam-Nyam" would get them something delicious, something we aspire to bring our customers every day. We believe that every language has their version of child-speak that calls for the goodness of food: num-nums (English), miam-miam (French), yum-yum (English), nãm-nãm (Spanish), amd ням-ням in our native language.

The food and service are amazing! The owner is friendly and we have had delightful conversations with him in the past, prior to covid. We have enjoyed everything we have tasted on the menu. My son recommends the very popular strawberry banana and Nutella crepe.

We detoured slightly from our route to try the Nyam Nyam Cafe, and our expectations were exceeded, even beyond the high bar set by the Yelp reviews we read. The food was very fresh & prepared to order by the (rightfully) proud & friendly owner. Everything was absolutely delicious. We look forward to returning again next time our travels bring us this way, but we wish this restaurant were located in our home town of New Orleans!
